What is involved in designing a web site?
The process for designing an entire web site is actually very demanding on our end. The key is spending the necessary time on designing the Home page because it involves developing a unique concept specifically for your business. Also, designing the layout for a color scheme, a consistent look throughout the entire site, clear menu titles for easy navigation, and good optimization to reach your target audience is part of the process.
A professional designer will go beyond the look of the site by assuring that the site functions properly using search engine optimization techniques, meta tag development, and optimized graphics. This requires comprehensive programming and numerous robust software applications to provide you with an excellent result.
Can you guide me through the steps of getting a web site up and running?
Initially, we will discuss what the main purpose of your site is,your target market, layout ideas, type of site you want: basic, dynamic, etc. Once this is established, we will proceed to the designing phase to implement everything planned.
I am shopping around for different prices for my web design and development needs, do you match quotes from other designers or firms?
Absolutely! In fact we will try to beat any quote we can, please email us for a free quote.
What if I do not like the initial web design?
If you are not happy with the design, we will provide you with 2 revisions. You can help us with a description of the site you want by finding on the internet a web site close to your expectations and we will try to design something similar. We will also provide you with a URL for you to be able to view your future web site design as it is in progress. We can put your web site design BETA version in a directory on our web server so you can view the final product before it goes live, or we can put the web site on your server, which ever you prefer.
How long will it take to design a fully functional web site?
You will be the one setting the pace by providing us with the actual content for your site in time for us to complete the project. If you do need help with that portion, we will be glad to assist. If you need a quick setup, such as a "rush job", we will gladly accommodate you. There will be a rush fee involved because it will take time away from our current design jobs.
Do you provide Web Hosting and Domain Name Registration?
Yes, we can help you register your Domain name or recommend a hosting company that we trust. If you would like us to handle it all for you - we offer full service domain name registration - this may cost a little more, but we handle all of the details for you, including updating your information if you move etc. When we register domains on behalf of clients, we always register them with the client as the domain registrant (this is the domain owner) - if you ever ask somone to register a domain for you, insist on them making you (the paying client), the DOMAIN REGISTRANT. This ensures you are the owner of what you paid for!
If you develop my site, who performs future maintenance and edits on the site?
You choose! WeI can perform maintenance on the site for you or you can make future edits to content yourself. Refer to our maintenance page.
We are based in Europe and you operate out of Florida, is that going to be an issue?
Location does not matter in web design but a website does matter to your business. This is the sole reason why clients from France, Greece and other countries have chosen to do business with us. You can either email, call, fax or post mail the information and we will design your web pages accordingly.
Can you guarantee top ranking on the Search Engines?
We wish. But it’s impossible! There are billions of web sites on the Internet and thousands more added every day. To compete with this, we will optimize your web site to be Search Engine Ready. Together we will find the best keywords to use, like the ones your customers would use to search for your products and services. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a complex process. During the optimization process, we look at all facets of your web site, from the domain name, to the naming of your pages, and even the names of the images used on your site.

How will my potential clients find my web site?
You do need to have a marketing strategy and make sure that your web site address is listed on all your current marketing tools, such as brochures, business cards, phone mail message, and other media advertising.
How long does it take to get my site listed on Search Engines?
It can take weeks to months to list your site unless you are willing to pay for submission. Free submissions do not guarantee inclusion or give a time line. Google does not have a paid inclusion option and takes 1 to 3 months to index or reindex pages. Yahoo/ hotbot / Overture/ MSN / About do not guarantee that they will list all sites that are submitted to them for free. Repeated submissions do not improve your chance of faster listing unless you change the content of your pages. You just need to have patience once it has been submitted.
What is your payment plan for web site design?
Payment equal to 50% of the estimated job cost is required initially along with a signed contract for work to begin, with the remaining half due upon completion of the project. For projects over $1,000, an initial payment representing one-third of the estimated total fee is required along with a signed contract. The second one-third is due midway during the process or during the second phase of the project, with the final third due upon completion of the project.
